Information to have ready before calling InterSystems Customer Service:
1. If available, please obtain a copy of the certified drawing or latest sales quotation for the piece of equipment.
2. If no drawing or quotation is available, then please obtain the serial number off of the piece of equipment, and/or measure the equipment's overall dimensions and inlet flange dimensions.
3. The model number and year the equipment was received from InterSystems are also helpful if known.
4. Any changes or modifications to the piece of equipment that were made after shipment should be noted (i.e. the conveyor was sold for an 8 degree incline, but was installed at a 10 degree incline angle).
5. Please note the results and findings of the above troubleshooting procedure that was applied.
6. Please obtain a descriptive account from the equipment operator who first discovered the problem with the equipment (i.e. strange noises, sudden speed changes, safety and overflow switch signals, etc.).
7. Please note precisely what commodities are being handled by the equipment, as well as their condition (i.e. moisture content, percentage of foreign material, kernel/clump sizes, etc.).
